    Darcy is the managing partner of Tonkon Torp LLP where she has practiced business law since 1998. Darcy's practice focuses on general business and corporate law.

    She works with clients in the insurance and financial services industry on a wide variety of matters, including regulatory compliance, privacy laws, contract drafting and general corporate matters. She also advises private investment funds regarding investment of assets held by employee benefit plans.

    Darcy's practice also emphasizes executive compensation, ERISA, and employee benefits counsel. Darcy has extensive experience in a wide range of employee benefit plans and executive compensation arrangements. She regularly designs and drafts incentive compensation plans, equity-based compensation plans, nonqualified deferred compensation plans and executive agreements. She provides ongoing legal advice and counsel about the establishment, maintenance, administration and termination of clients' employee benefit plans.

    Among the issues she regularly addresses are concerns and strategies involving tax qualified and non-qualified employee benefit plans, equity based plans, health and welfare plans, and fringe benefit plans.

    Darcy advises investment advisors who work with employee benefit plan clients regarding ERISA compliance in a complex and changing regulatory environment.

    When compensation and benefits matters are triggered during mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and other major business transactions, Darcy guides clients in protecting their interests and ensuring the integrity of transactions.

      As the firm's Director of Information Governance, Cindy has over 35 years of law firm experience, primarily in Records Management. Her responsibilities include oversight of the firm's New Business Intake Process (conflict analysis, engagement letters, conflict waivers, ethical walls), working closely with the firm's New Business Committee, record retention, and client and attorney transitions. Cindy is also a member of the firm's Internal Information Security Committee.
      For over ten years, Cindy has been an active participant in the firm's partnership with De La Salle North Catholic High School, mentoring and supervising several young people in the internship program.

    • Loree Devery
      Loree Devery, Director of Marketing

      Loree is the Director of Marketing at Tonkon Torp. She has primary responsibility over all the firm’s business development and marketing efforts. Loree works closely with our practice groups and lawyers to identify opportunities to personally connect with clients, prospective clients and referral sources. She oversees firm events and manages our sponsorships and charitable giving processes. 
      Loree started at the firm in 1980 as a part-time Docket Clerk when she was a student at Reed College. After graduating from Reed, she worked full time as a paralegal until she left in 1985 to go to law school. Loree worked as a lawyer at the firm from 1988 through 1998, practicing primarily in the areas of Bankruptcy and Commercial Litigation. From 2000 until 2004, Loree served as the Executive Director of Oregon Women Lawyers. She returned to Tonkon Torp in 2004 as the Manager of Recruiting & Professional Development. She became the firm’s Director of Marketing in 2009.

    • Daniel Enroth
      Daniel Enroth, Chief Information Officer

      Daniel joined Tonkon Torp in 2005 as Chief Information Officer, bringing twenty years of experience in Information Technology management.  His experience includes project leadership, systems architecture, network management, business continuity/recovery, and security.
      He previously worked at several Portland technology companies and traveled extensively providing security and productivity solutions and improvements to clients and customers.
      His accomplishments include:
      • Led development of vertical market financial and job-costing software system from concept to gold release.
      • Stabilized 25,000-user directory service for a large university, averting pending disaster.
      • Managed successful server and network upgrades for a multi-branch regional credit union.

    • Allan MacLaine
      Allan MacLaine, Chief Financial Officer

      Allan MacLaine is our Chief Financial Officer responsible for all financial aspects of the firm including financial reporting, cash management, retirement plans and tax compliance. Allan joined the firm in September of 2006. Prior to Tonkon Torp, he was Controller with the national law firm Lang Michener LLP located in Vancouver, British Columbia. Allan is a Canadian CPA, CMA and a graduate of the British Columbia Institute of Technology. He is also member of the Oregon and national Association of Legal Administrators.
    • Phil Moran
      Phil Moran, Facilities Manager

      Phil Moran is the Facility Services Manager at Tonkon Torp LLP. He is responsible for all aspects of hospitality, and facilities maintenance repair and operations, including project management, budgeting, purchasing, and vendor management.

      Phil joined Tonkon Torp after 34 years working for the law firm Stoel Rives LLP, where he served as their construction, property, facility, and sustainability manager. During his tenure at Stoel Rives, Phil led the firm though a complete remodel of nine floors in 1999 and spent four years planning and implementing the firm's move into the Park Avenue West Tower, in May of 2016. Phil led the Stoel Rives sustainability committee and implemented the sustainable office practices and the LEED platinum certification of their new offices. He also coordinated their combined giving campaign from 2003 through 2017 for the firm's annual workplace giving.
      Phil is a lifelong resident of Portland, Oregon.

    • Laura Petch
      Laura Petch, Director of Human Resources

      Laura started her legal career as an independent court reporter. She came to Tonkon Torp in 2011 after spending 16 years in Human Resources and law firm management at other local firms. As Director of Human Resources at Tonkon, Laura manages staff recruiting, benefits and compensation and provides consultation to the Managing Board on strategic staffing plans and performance management. 
      On the weekends you can usually find Laura playing bass and singing with her R&B band at a local club.
